VIRTUAL SYSTEMS LAUNCHES UNIQUE DATA SYSTEM TO REAL ESTATE MARKET

Multiplatform accessibility adds more time to the day for NAI Wisinski of West Michigan.

BYRON CENTER, Mich., May 5, 2016 – Virtual Systems (VSystems, www.vsystems.com), a Byron Center-based technology company, has launched a new, customized cloud-based remote desktop system for the commercial real estate firm NAI Wisinski of West Michigan (NAI,) to optimize time spent working and cut back on wasted hours over slow, dated technology.

“NAI came to VSystems to discuss moving into technology that would perform with better speed, better agility and meet their needs of Windows desktop access from anywhere (including iPads). They wanted something more modern,” said Michael Wolthuis, chief technology officer at VSystems. “We proposed a combination of a couple of our products that would improve end-user employee experience and modernize their technology while requiring minimal upfront capital expense. In the end, we added additional services while meeting NAI’s existing budget for the project without large increases in monthly expenses.”

The new system is tailored to each user’s needs, rather than a program like Citrix, which uses a shared resource pool and results in slower performance. Because of this technological advance, there is little to no loading time.  The newer, faster system also works seamlessly on tablets, smart phones, Windows and MAC computers.

“With our sales team constantly on the road, it was important for us to make the switch to a more advanced system that would accommodate work needs away from the office,” said Brad Bruinsma, general manager at NAI. “VSystems took the time to understand our needs to increase speed and performance, and came back with a robust plan that they then executed seamlessly.”

With the new system in place, NAI employees are enjoying less time spent troubleshooting.

“The new system allows us to be more productive in our work days,” said Tom Kilgore, principal/property manager at NAI. “We are now working on a faster and more stable environment. Technology can be frustrating and anything we can do to mitigate those frustrations will enable us to focus all of our energy into our work.”

Commercial real estate is a new space for VSystems. With the success of this project, VSystems see a strong future moving forward into the real estate world, and beyond.

“Working with NAI was a great experience for us,” said Wolthuis. “We see tremendous opportunities for our products and services within the real estate market, and many other vertical markets that rely on a mobile workforce or need to meet compliance standards.”

The project took a total of 45 days of planning and only 48 hours of transition time over a single weekend.
